Job Description

  1. Assist the Manager of Commercial and CEO in Commercial, Insurance, Claims and Chartering related activities of Offshore Support Vessel including but not limited to Tanker matters;
  2. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position is responsible for negotiation of Charter Party and other related contract terms and requirements;
  3. Acquire a thorough understanding of key client’s need and requirements;
  4. Deals with clients and vessel owners or chartering brokers pertaining to substitute vessel and new vessel requirement activities to ensure all necessary operational information is passed on timely;
  5. Responsible to EAT and LPP Petronas License activities in PLMS and monitoring of contract / tender activities in Client’s tendering system (SMARTGep, Ariba); 
  6. Responsible to EAT and LPP vendor registration;
  7. Communicate with external parties including but not limited to Vessel Masters, Shipping Agents, Port Captains, Cargo Charterers, Cargo Brokers, Surveyors, Vessel Technical Managers and any concerned parties in Tankers, FCB, Tugboat, FSU Operations
  8. Monitor performance of Charter Party
  9. Foreseeing fleets’ insurance needs such as policy renewals; get quotation via procurement and apply for new vessel insurance coverage for H&M, LOH, P&I, MII, WARRISK, Builder Risk policy etc.
  10. Maintaining records and handling fleet’s policy renewals
  11. Ensure the claims submitted to H&M, LOH Underwriters and P&I Club via Adjuster or Insurance Brokers and coordinating with Technical, Manning, HSSE and Operations Department
  12. Consolidate monthly off-hire reports for vessel revenue and performance
  13. Consolidate quarterly report of Vessel Risk Performance to Internal Audit Department
  14. Make frequent contacts with tanker, offshore industry players, brokers / agents (as and when required) to obtain market information and development
  15. Analyze and follow-up all internal customer’s feedback and ensure effective measure taken and precautionary action taken for continuous improvement
  16. Coordinate shipping requirements under Contract of Affreightment, Bareboat Charter and Spot Charter Agreement
  17. Responsible and coordinate with internal and external parties for the Sale and Purchase of Tanker, Tug Boat and FSO/FSU
  18. Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities and liaise with external parties to ensure efficient commercial operations
  19. Propose workflow improvement to improve efficiency
  20. Update client on ship activities, personnel and fleet charges
  21. Respond to vessel issues, cooperating with concerned parties until resolved
  22. Managing oil major and terminal and industry KYC questionnaires
  23. Any ad-hoc / reasonable duties as assigned by Commercial Manager or Senior Management
  24. Maintain records of off-hire to ensure the downtime is minimized at all times


REQUIREMENT

* A degree in business admin / engineering / marketing with minimum 5-8 years working experience in shipping industry.

* Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills as well as high   teamwork spirit.

* high interpersonal skills to work with cross functional and cross regional team.


Job Description

ESG Data Management & Analysis

  • Compile ESG-related data from all departments within the organization and its subsidiaries.
  • Track, calculate, verify, and analyze monthly ESG data submissions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized ESG data records and documentation for reporting and audit purposes.

Governance & Compliance

  • Review and update corporate governance documents (e.g., Terms of Reference, Limits of Authority) to integrate ESG considerations.
  • Ensure alignment with relevant regulatory standards, including Bursa Malaysia, IFRS S1 & S2, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Report compliance gaps and ESG-related regulatory updates to Management.

Sustainability & ESG Reporting

  • Assists in the writing of the company’s annual Sustainability Report.  Provide ESG inputs, data, and narratives for the annual Sustainability Report and Annual Report.
  • Support audit and assurance processes related to ESG disclosures.

ESG Risk Management

  • Conduct ESG-related risk assessments and identify material risks across operations.
  • Develop and track mitigation strategies to address identified ESG risks.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance related to ESG risk management.

Business Continuity Planning (BCP)

  • Develop, maintain, and periodically update the company’s Business Continuity Plan.
  • Coordinate with departments to test, review, and improve BCP procedures.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Assist the Corporate HSSE Unit and QHSSE Executives in sustainability, safety, and compliance initiatives as required.
  • Support internal awareness and training related to ESG policies and practices.

REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Occupational Safety & Health, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Relevant ESG certifications or training (e.g., GRI, ISSB/IFRS, sustainability reporting) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate governance
  • Experience in similar industry is preferred (marine and shipping)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and Malaysian regulatory requirements (Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, GRI, UNSDGs, IFRS S1 & S2
  • Good understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and sustainability.
  • Fluent in writing and communicating in English.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data tools, and reporting platforms.
